Does Benicar Taken For BP Cause Dizziness?
I have been experiencing slight dizziness. I had a full check up with blood work, urine and heart test and all were good. I also went to an eye doctor to make sure eyes were okay. I went to an urgent care and they gave me antibiotics for water in the middle ear but I still have the dizziness. they also said take clairitin d which makes no difference. i thought it might be sinuses but I am not stuffy. the only medicine I take is Benicar for about 2 years or so and it does great for my blood pressure but people have said it could cause dizziness. is this possible? the feeling of dizziness is not all the time but is annoying. thank you

yes the drug can cause dizziness
but in that case all BP medication do cause dizziness.
benzicar that is olmesartan is a relative potent BP medication - ARB
r u taking 20 or 40 mg. split the dose to twice a day it will help
then again water in middle ear also can produce temporary dizziness even though it has subsided.
u could try stugeron 25 twice a day for 2 days along with vertin 16 thrice a day for 2 days. if u feel better then continue for a further 5 days. if not stop it.
as I told earlier split ur benzicar dose
