Does Bendroflumethiazide Interact With Losartan?
My husband was prescribed bendroflumethiazide 2.5 when he had been on Losartan 100mg for 10 years. He has had severe side effects with his leg muscles. After stopping taking Bendroflumethiazide we looked at the paper inside the tablet box and saw that it said you shouldn t take Bendroflumethiazide if you are taking Losartan. Can you tell us if these side effects can be reversed/helped and how we can go about getting help.

Losartan and Bendroflumethiazide taken together can decrease Potassium level in blood, which can cause muscle spasms and pain.
Discontinuing Bendroflumethiazide will restore normal potassium levels.
