Does Axiron Causes Lingering Cough?
Dr, I am currently taking Axiron 4 pumps daily so my question is could this drug cause a lingering cough? I have had a dry cough with clear discharge for almost 2 months. I have been to the Dr and had a chest xray. All is negative. I also have sleep apnea as well so I wonder of this drug could make this condition worse.

Though some medications can sometimes cause a dry cough, this is not a known side effect of this medication.
The most common reason from dry persistent cough is post nasal drip. The other 2 common causes are GERD and asthma.
Some persons may not be aware of the post nasal drip or GERD.
You should consider treatment for post nasal drip (since most common cause) to see if this helps.
This includes a nasal spray and oral antihistamine.
