General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Albothyl vaginal suppositories contain an active ingredient called 'Policresulen'. It is indicated to be used as local treatment of cervicovaginal inflammations or infections and tissue damage such as vaginal and cervical discharge caused by bacteria, trichomonads and fungal infections, pressure sores in diaphragm users.
Like all treatment which would involve medications via vaginal route of administration, Albothyl vaginal suppositories should not be used during menstruation.
Kindly consult your doctor immediately in case you have any adverse outcomes.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
