Does AKT-3 Prevent Pregnancy?
I am taking akt-3 since three weeks and I missed my period date Does happen because of medication. And also can we plan for baby while taking akt-53.my doctor told me to take akt-3 for 2 months and from third month he prescribes R-Cinex for 4 months. As he found t.b in my utreus. Please Adevice does these medicine affects in concieving.

This drugs are prescribed for tuberculosis. They cannot lead to pregnancy but if you get pregnant while on this drugs there is teratogenic effect on your baby. So pregnancy is not advised while a person is on this drugs. You should plan pregnancy after completing of anti kochi therapy and when tour uterus is free from tuberculosis. Please take complete therapy for 6 months and do not stop in between as multiple drug resistance is rampant for tuberculosis. All the best.
