Do Pregnancy Hormones Prevent Weight Loss?
I miscarried in October and still bleeding off and on, no D&C just took the pills twice since it didn t fully work the first time. I been getting my blood work done to make sure my numbers are going down and they are very very very slowly... My problem is this, I can t seem to lose weight even with taking phentermine, working out and dieting. Can my pregnancy hormones be affecting my weight and not allowing my body to lose the extra lbs?

I really appreciate your concern, in my opinion better to get done the ultrasonography test to rule out he residual fetal part, loss of weight may not be due to hormone but it may be nonspecific and not the pure loss of weight as it is being seen in illness hope this information helps.
