Do Lower Abdominal Pain And Delayed Periods Suggest Pregnancy?
Hi! I had sex about 6 days ago and we didn t use protection. I m pretty sure he did not finish inside of me. I ve been having pain in my lower stomach and I was supposed to get my period sometime this week but I still haven t gotten it. I took the morning after pill 25 hours after intercourse but I m still concerned. could this mean that I m pregnant?

I can understand your problem of having delayed periods with lower abdominal pain following unprotected sex.
Yes, it can be due to pregnancy until otherwise unproved.
Even though he did not finish inside of you, there is a strong possibility of pre-cum (pre ejaculatory secretions) of getting deposited before the actual ejaculate of semen.
The pre-ejaculatory secretions contain sufficient number of active and motile sperms capable of fertilizing the egg and hence causing pregnancy.
More over the efficacy of morning after pill taken after such encounter is only 90% or so hence pregnancy can occur.
You are advised to do the pregnancy test on the early morning sample to rule out the pregnancy.

Ejaculation inside vagina is necessary for fertilization. Again as you have taken morning after pill within time the chance of getting pregnant by accidental ejaculation is also very minimum. Moreover chance of pregnancy is also less in intercourse at late phase of menstruation.
Abdominal pain due to pregnancy does not occur in such early phases. It may be due to premenstrual syndrome. Delayed menstruation may be a early sign of pregnancy. Though upto 1wk delay may be normal physiological.
As there is a chance of failure of every contraceptives signs of pregnancies should be taken with concern. If menstruation does not take place even after 15days of expected date urine pregnancy test is recommended to rule out pregnancy.
