Do Kids Who Had Heart Surgery Learn Slower Than Normal ?

i was just wondering if kids who underwent some type of heart surgery have difficulty academically. i know 3 kids who fit this description but not sure if it is just coisidence or it is a proven fact

Interesting observation. If the heart was not pumping the same amount of oxygen rich blood to the brain, a person would not think as clear. I think this is why men get depression after open heart surgery. There is less oxygen going to the brain. It's also why people who are low in iron have less concentration. It's just a theory :)
