Do I Need To Take Precaution To Conceive After Abortions ?

hi.I am 28. I had one missed abortion ,then one ectopic pregnancy(laft tube removed), then again one missed abortion. Do i need to take any tests before planning a baby again? How much gap should I give? Kiran

Hi Kiran
You should have at least a gap of 6 months after you last pregnancy loss before you concieve again.Three pregnancy losses are serious.You dont have any trouble getting pregnant so ovulation isnt a problem.However,since there is a problem of sustaining the pregnancy plan your next pregnancy and do consult your doctor for appropriate medication.Consult a gynaecologist and start folic acid tablets 3 mths before you start trying conception.
