Do I Need To Take Any Type Of Vitamins?

I just turned 50,in good health and want to stay that way.I have heard I should change my daily multivitamin. How much, daily should I take of these: vitamin d, calcium, magnesium vitamin a, omega 3 dha, do I need to take any type of vitamin b or b12? And is there a multivitamin out there that has enough of everything, so I am not taking a handful of pills everyday. I do understand omega 3 is by itself. Thank You for the help. Shannon H.

Hello,
Thanks for asking a very important question and it will apply to all women after menopause. I would like to tell you that after menopause, which mostly occurs at around 45 years, most of the women need to be supplemented with vitamin D and Calcium, which strengthens your bone and prevent osteoporosis. Again vitamin B12 is only present in non-veg food, so if you are pure vegetarian, then you must need to extra supplements in form of vitamin B12.
So i would suggest you to take tablets of vitamin D, Calcium and also take multivitamin tablet, which will improve your appetite and health also.
