hi, i have bitten by a dog last feb. 4 and who's vaccination expired 2 or 3 years ago.  a very small bite in my right foot.  i went to health center and vaccinated me with anti-tetanus and advised me to go to city health department. city health personnel injected me with anti rabies vaccine (consist of 4 injections) without the normal procedure of observing first the dog's condition for 10 days.  i'm afraid what will happen to me after receiving the vaccine because i have received so many negative feedback of people who have an anti rabies vaccine minus the actual presence of rabbies in their body.

please help me

Observe the puppy for 10 days, clean the wound thoroughly under free flowing water. Take Tetanus shot. If in 10 days the puppy develops symptoms, or gets confused, or dies, then go for Post exposure vaccine which will consist of 6 injections.

We  have a 3 month old puppy who just received her first rabies vaccination 3 days ago. On the third day she bit my daughters friend, just a small punctures from the sharp puppy teeth. Her mom has taken her to get the first round of rabies vaccination (the girl) should I just continue to watch our dog for symptoms of rabies? or is there a test the vet can give the puppy to confirm she is safe?
