Do Delayed Periods With Dizziness, Increased Appetite And Acne Breakout Mean Pregnancy?

Hello Dr. Rynne, My period is late by about 3 weeks now, I have unusual acne breakouts, dizziness, I m so hungry all the time and for about 2 weeks I can t sleep and I have lower back pain. I have taken two pregnancy tests and they were both negative. Is it possible that I could be pregnant despite the test saying it s negative?

Hi, I have gone through your question.Delayed periods , backache and dizziness are suggestive of pregnancy.Acne breakouts can be due to hormonal changes in pregnancy. Sometimes, it is a delayed conception and hence the pregnancy tests is positive little later. I suggest you to repeat urine pregnancy test after 1 week if you don't get periods in the meantime.
If your test is still negative, then do consult with your OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated and treated for delayed periods.
