Do Chunks With Foul Odour From Throat Contribute To Bad Breath?

I get chunks of plaque that come out of my sinuses if I produce suction in my mouth and they come right out of the back of my throat. Not only do these chunks of plaque look bad, they even smell really, really bad. I ve always been aware of suffering from bad breath at times, do these contribute/cause the bad breath?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

As per your complain chunks of plaque that comes from the back of the throat that you think comes from sinuses does not seems to be coming from sinuses but they seems to me to be TONSIL STONES that are calcified structures and are formed by calcification of debris that accumulates over the tonsils..
They are really bad smelling structures and are also the cause of bad breath.
You should consult an ENT EXPERT and get evaluated and in case of tonsil stones removal of the same and then maintaining a proper oral hygiene by doing warm saline gargles and gargles with antimicrobial mouthwash will help..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
