Do Both Postnasal Drip And Allergy Cause Stomach Upset?

hi I have been taking Omeprazole 40mg for about 10 years now. My heart burn is only getting worse so I decided to get off of it for awhile and take Zantac DUO Fusion every night . I don t eat after 6 anymore and I am not heavy. I can not get rid of the sour, acidy, feeling I get that I am constantly nauseas and after I eat I feel like throwing up. ( which I don t do ) I do have problems with my postnasal drip and allergies. Could that be causing the stomach upset and acid feeling and pain? Did I do wrong in stopping my Meds? I am a female and I am 56 years old . I am 5 7 and weigh 160 Please let me know what you think. Thanks Elaine Carrasco

I really appreciate your concern, it is not advisable to continue PPI till 10 years better to stop it now, and what the symptoms that you have could be due to psychological condition and I would suggest to try Chlorpromezine 10 mg three times in day, for the allergic condition or for postnasal drip just do nothing but it is the self limiting condition, try to come out of the stress and it will be alright hope this information helps.
