Do Bartholin Cyst Occur Due To Genetic Hereditary?
I'm 20yrs old, 5'8 and 145lbs. I've had a bartholin cyst removed not lanced but removed, and recently have had two more appear. They burst on their own due to hot baths and old remedies. My grandmother as well as aunt and mother have told me they use to get them frequently, with that being said are getting bartholin cyst or any cyst in general hereditary?

result from obstruction of the gland duct by an inflammatory process.Bartholin duct cysts are either excised or opened permanently (marsupialization).it is unlikely that bartholin cyst has any hereditary predisposition.thank you
