Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query. Arthritis and disc protrusion in lumbo sacral spine can cause such problems . A proper physical examination by orthopedic surgeon followed by a x ray and MRI (if required) of lumboscaral spine will be helpful to rule out the condition. For such conditions in my patients I would advise muscle relaxants like Tizanidine , NSAIDs like Aceclofenac and neurotropic drugs like pregabalin and methylcobalamin. I also recommend them to do physiotherapy like TENS , ultrasound therapy , massage etc by sending them to physiotherapist. Back muscle strengthening exercises also helps in this. Physiotherapist will guide you to do such exercises also. Only if no improvement and symptoms worsens surgical correction is recommended.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
