Do Glycomet, Cabgolin, Duphaston And Folvite Help Treat Conception Difficulty Due To PCOS?
Hello I m 25 years I m married couple of years back, I have bilateral polysystic ovaries.. my insulin level is 22 on fasting and high prolactine level Dr. Prescribed me glycomet 500mg twice daily, folvite , cabgolin 0.5mg weekly once and duphaston 16th day to 25th days from my periods .. does all this tablet helps Me in getting pregnant!? last month my periods was on 19.6.2015 this month 16.6.2015.. This month after getting my periods Dr. Prescribed me siphene 50mg from 3rd day to 7th day.. Do I have chances of pregnancy this month!? all these tablets affect my pregnancy Or my health.. Also on 11th day Dr. Suggested me a follicular scan .. How the scan will be done? What is the use of it
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. Since you have PCOS, there is definitely problem related to conceiving. What the doctor has prescribed is absolutely fine and they will improve your chances of conceiving. Follicular scan is abdominal or trans-vaginal ultrasound done to know about how you are responding to treatment in the course of ovulation and to time intercourse during the period of ovulation. It is almost done everyday to know the progress of the follicular maturity. Stay positive and do as the doctor says. All the best.
