Dizziness, Profuse Sweating, Numb Body After Drinking Spiked Drink. Blood Test For Drugs?

I had my drink spiked last weekend, I collapsed first then a few minutes later I started getting dizzy and started sweating profusely I had 2 sit down straight away in that time my whole body went numb, I cudnt feel my legs or lift my arms and head up. The ambulance men came did the blood pressure and did a blood test I think it was with one of those diabetic checkers. Although I didn t go with them to the hospital, I was wondering if the blood they took would also b checked for a drug in my system or is it just for a glucose or diabeties check?

Hi there ~

I understand your concerns. The symptoms of dizziness, profuse sweating and numbness in your body after drinking alcohol spiked with meth is a very common set of symptoms. I believe that you should stop using alcohol in the first place and seek the help of a substance abuse counselor and a qualified psychiatrist trained in the treatment of substance and alcohol dependence disorders. I also believe that you can call the ambulance people for results of the blood examination that you had and they should be able to give you your results. However this does not mean that it is an end to your worries, you however need to consult with a psychiatrist as was mentioned before. I hope you do so as soon as possible.
