Dizziness, Imbalance, Neck And Back Pain. MRI Shows Low-lying Tonsils. Cause Of Worry?

Hi, i am a 42 year old male and for the past 3 years i have had severre dizzy spells and balance trouble and pain in my neck and back of my head all the way to my lowerr back. I have had 2 mri done and they say i have low lying tonsils, but does not show much of anything else. Is there something they could be missing? I am awaiting an appointment to see a neurosurgeon . Any suggestions

hi,
your symptoms is more like cervical spondilitis .
low lying tonsil will not cause such severe symptoms unless it is causing some kind compression on the cervical spinal cord..
i would suggest you meet neurologist and also orthopedician they will guide you in the right way..
