Dizziness after fixing broken nose. MRI negative. What are they looking for?

My son broke his nose and then had closed reduction to fix it, since then he has been experiencing dizziness . They have done and MRI which was said to be negative and an ENG which was said to be negative and now I m being referred to a neurologist and cardiologist . What are they looking for to send him to a neurologist and cardiologist? I only received a phone call from the front desk person who knew nothing.

The dizziness can be because of concussion injury which must have occurred at the time of impact which caused the fracture nose. Usually settles in few weeks just with rest only. If it is bothering much, can take betahistine or cinnarzine for few days. Doing adaptation exercises for vertigo also help. Regards
