Discomfort In Stomach, Feeling Nauseous, Chills. Treatment?
My stomach has been having some discomfort the past couple days. It has been making me feel nauseous but have never vomited. I can push on the area of my stomach where I feel the discomfort and hold it when I breathe in and that helps it feel a little better. Tonight I am having chills with it in the middle if the night.
Abdominal discomfort, nausea, vomiting and chills are symptoms associated with Gastrointestinal infection. It may be due to food poison, bacterial or viral infection.
In this situation in advise my patients to rest, take plenty of oral fluids, antispasmodic and anti emetic for discomfort and nausea.
