ENT Specialist 's  Response
hello and welcome to HCM,

You seem to be suffering from an acute episode of tonsillitis or tonsillopharyngitis or just plain pharyngitis which is progressing on to a full infection.
The definitive diagnosis can only be made on proper examination
Consult an ENT immediately and start on definitive treatment. If the pain is more you may even start with a couple of injections which may provide you better immediate relief.

Take lost of warm fluids and do not strain your voice

If the problem recurs then evaluate the possibility of undergoing a tonsillectomy surgery which can relieve your symptoms to a better extent
