Hi.
Such symptoms like difficulty in passing urine in the morning, and passing stool in small pellet form in a young person of 20 years is indicative of the following:
There may be a problem with prostate or urethra such as Prostatitis with or without urethritis or a stricture of urethra.
This can be diagnosed by the following ways:
Per-rectal digital palpation of prostate by a
General Surgeon or an
Urologist can give a clue.
To be confirmed by
Ultrasonography of whole abdomen, particularly for
Genito-
urinary system.
Taking stool softeners and laxatives, dosages to be adjusted as per your need.
Add more fibers to diet.
Take plenty of oral fluids.
If there is prostatitis you may need a long course of an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medications.
If there is stricture of urethra or any other condition like stone in bladder or urethra you need a surgery.
If there is any
urinary tract infection then also you need a long course of an antibiotic.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant,
General Surgeon
