Diet chat for kidney stones

I am having kidney stones. I used to get stomach pain and back pain on and off. I saw a doctor and he suggested me to undergo ultrasound scan. It showed that i have kidney stones. My friend told me that if you have kidney stones you should avoid certain foods. what are the foods to be not taken in case of kidney stones

use banana tree bark, make dish out of it, and im more amounts. banana tree stem is very good of stones. a kerala ayurvedic doctor advised me this, my stones completely disappeared.

i think we should avoid pulses and protien food as it may lead to uric acid stones....
