Didn't Take Luvox For Few Days. Weird Feeling While Moving Eyes, Dizziness, Heart Pounding. Due To Stopping Medicine?
I've been taking Luvox, for about two months now. I'm on 200mg right now and I ran out three days ago and haven't been able to take any. yesterday I started getting this wierd feeling when I move my eyes left and right. I get a wierd dizzy feeling, I can feel my heart pounding and I get a little short of breath and its very intense. could this be because I haven't taken them in the past few days?
Hi and thanks for the query, taking medications as such, especially when having been on time them for a long time could lead to withdrawal symptoms, especially when the cut off is abrupt. It is very likely that the symptoms you are experiencing are arising because of withdrawal from the drug. It is advisable to reinstate the normal dose you were taking and watch. In case symptoms persist after a couple of days while on the drug, you might be compelled to consult your primary care physician for other causes to be sought for. Kind regards
