Hi there,
Thank you for writing to us.
Diarrhea and stomach pain has been happening for a period of two weeks definitely requires consultation of a doctor.
The reason why I say that is because viral infections usually do settle in a week's time.
This prolonged diarrhea may be as a result of bacterial infection or parasitic infection.
You may require tests like a stool examination to look for cysts or bacteria.
At this stage you may require an antibiotic if the antiparasitic medication is not helping you with your problem.
So the bottom line is that you do need to contact a doctor for further evaluation of your and possible prescription of medications if required.
Kindest Regards
