Diarrhea, Nausea, Headaches, Back Pain, Slight Discharge. Negative Pregnancy Tests. Can I Be Pregnant?
I am 14 days late. I've been having diarrhea every morning for just over a week. Feeling nauseas, headaches, lower back pain and slight cramps from time to time. I some times have a slight discharge thinking it will be my period but its not. I've also taken a pregnacy test on the 11th day late and 13th day both negative. I messed up on the second one and did not urinate enough and nothing came up. Theen tried again later on the same test and it was negative. Can I be pregnant?
Pregnancy is unlikely as you have got a negative pregnancy test of various occasions. The presence of diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, back pain and cramps are another set of symptoms unrelated to pregnancy. These symptoms suggest a gastrointestinal problem. This could be due to food a gastrointestinal upset due to infection, food poisoning, etc. Get a stool examination done. It will identify if there is presence of any infectious agent in the stool. For symptomatic relief you can take an anti-spamodic like dicyclomine for the abdominal cramps.
Consult your doctor for a clinical examination, investigations and appropriate medication.
