Diarrhea Followed By Dry Coughing Which Is Not Going Despite All Trials In A Person With Immune Deficiency. How To Treat It?

Hi, My name is Kunwal and I am writing to ask a few questions about my husband's health. He got sick by a stomach virus on thursday Jan 9th, he was throwing up and he had diarrhea which lasted 2 days but then he started dry coughing. He has had this cough since sunday Jan12th and we have tried ginger honey, cough syrups, steam inhaling, soups, ginger tea, and cinnamon honey. His cough calms down for a bit but then when it hits again it gets bad until he takes halls or something. He has Immune Deficiency since he was 6 so he is very sensitive to viruses and bacteria. We already got his X-rays which came out ok. I am really worried about why his cough is not going away. I need help with what could be causing the dry cough and what should we do next.

Please and Thank you,
Kunwal

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears that he had viral diarrhea, due to food poisoning. As he was vomiting he would have developed the pharyngititis, and uvulitis.
As he is an immuno suppressive, even for a minor ailment go only for allopathic medicine for complete cure.
For cough you consult an E.N.T surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. Ask him to gargle with luke warm salt water two times a day.
Avoid giving him fruits, juices, ice water, ice cream, etc to avoid the allergy, and cough.
wishing him a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
