Diarrhea After Taking Trapic Mf Tablet For Irregular Periods. How Long Will Side Effect Last?

Hi. This question is regarding Trapic MF 500mg Tablet. One of my friend she got irregular periods with heavy bleeding so doctor asked her to take Trapic MF 500mg. She took it for 2 days and when she started on drug she got diarrhea. It's been 10 days still that diarrhea persists. Is it possible to have such a prolonged side effects. If not, what would be the most likely cause. Usually how long will it take to get the drug washed out of the body. The doctors are treating her diarrhea but still she continues to have. Please suggest. Thank you.

Hi,

Diarrhea is commonly reported in patients using Trapic. Once the drug is stopped, the diarrhea will stop too. Usually, drugs take up to 2 weeks after stopping them to clear out of our body.
