Diagonised With Pneumonia For A 1 Year And 6month Old Kid

My kid aged 1 year 6 months having cough consulted peadatrician suggested syp with ambroxil, Guaphenisin & terbutaline sulphate , not supressed consulted another Peadatrician took x-ray diognosed as pnemonia sugested cefodem ,what dose you would recommend.pls

The lung infections in this age group should be manged carefully, because it is going affects the growth and development of your child.If it is confirmed to be a case of pneumonia your child should be treated appropriately.

As your doctor has prescribed the antibiotics continue this antibiotics for atleast 5 days and in addition to this I would suggest you to give
Syp Ambrodil S
Syp Dolo 125 mg

If the symptoms are not coming down don't delay in taking your child to your pediatrician for complete evaluation, if the Iv antibiotics is required your child should be admitted for further treatment.
