Diagnosed With Pcos, Abdominal Pain, Severe Heartburn, Headaches, Night Sweats, Distended Stomach, Vaginal Discharge. On Clomid. Pregnant?

I am 20 years old and I was diagnosed with pcos when I was 13. I have been having unusual pains in my abdomen, followed by severe heartburn, headaches, night sweats, distended stomach, vaginal discharge and very vivid dreams which is unusual for me. I have been tracking my ovulation and periods and I had my period on the 23rd of last month lasting 7 days and I ovulated the 23rd,24th,25th,and 26th. And I am currently on clomid for 5 days at 150 mg. My husband and I had unprotected sex on a day that I was ovulating (the 23rd and 24th). Could these symptoms mean I am pregnant or should I go to the hospital?

Hi.
Thanks for asking in Healthcare Magic.

You have written that you got period on 23rd. You have also written that you had ovulation on 23rd. Or did you mean 23rd of next month. Generally the ovulation occurs roughly on the 14th day after the onset of period. Also during period, the endometrium (inner lining of the uterus) is not suitable for implantation. So, the possibility of pregnancy is minimal.

On the other hand, if it is 23rd of next month, since you are taking Clomid, it could be pregnancy. Urine test will confirm if it is pregnancy. Although in most women, the first change during pregnancy is breast tenderness, the symptoms may vary for each individual.

If the urine test is negative, then you should consult your treating Dr. rule out pelvic inflammatory disease as you are having vaginal discharge and abdominal pain.

I hope this is useful.
