Diagnosed With Intestinal Tuberculosis. What Is The Treatment And Diet Regarding The Same ?
I am diagnosed with intestinal tuberculosis in July 2011. I suffer with regular upper abdominal pain . Please refer me relevant treatment and diet regarding the same.

Read your prob, treatment of intestinal TB is 4 drug combination of AKT which should be taken for 9 month. along with it you should take antacid n tab omeprazol 20mg empty stomach. you should avoid spicy n fatty food ,take fibre riched diet. they helps in avoiding your symptoms n abdominal pain.

In case of intestinal tuberculosis site of lesion, form of lesion ie in the form of stricture
size of stricture, involvement of other thing especialy with lung involvement or without
lung infection all this things are important, Your present suffering due to tuberculosis
etc are all important to know merely naming the drugs in forum will not help you. Drugs
used in tuberculosis are very toxic and can effect your liver, can effect your eyes as
well. Prior to treatment liver function test are essential to know. Even after starting
treatment frequent asesment of liver is essential. thanks
