But this year again my menstruation become irregular. i gain my weight about 8 kg. Now i'm about 68 kg and my TSH level is 9.42. what is the correct dose of thiroxin sodium tablet for me right now?
Hi, Thanks for using Healthcaremagic, You have been diagnosed Hypothyroidism and taking supplementation of Thyroxine.
You have responded to the treatment also but if your TSH is 9.42 your endocrinologist or treating Physician would like to adjust the dose of Thyroxine. In fact dose needs to be increased slightly.
In few weeks time you will become Euthyroid and please continue your treatment regularly and do go for periodic medical check up and Thyroid function test twice a year.
You should take care of diet and physical exercise to maintain weight.
Hope this helps. Take care. Good Luck. Dr.Akhilesh Dubey M.D.
