Diagnosed with hernia, pain in left side, test could not locate it. Cure?

I had a hernia test performed a month ago and i was diagosed on 3 separate occasions of having one. When i went to general surgery they did the test and said that i didn t have one. However when they perform the test it hurts to the point where i double over. This is not the case on the right side so i know for sure there is something wrong with my left side

Hernia is usually visible and increases on coughing or raising the abdominal pressure. So, its unlikely to be hernia. Sciatica can also cause the symptoms described by you. This can be caused due to spinal disc herniation, spinal stenosis and piriformis syndrome.

You can try avoiding those postures and movements which aggravates your symptoms. Could try cold or hot compress for relief from pain.

To find a cure you need to consult your primary care physician for proper assessment.
