Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
You have to follow prescribed treatment and achieve therapeutical targets: 1.Preprandial plasma glucose normal 45 mg /dl, target > 55 mg /dl; fasting triglycerides normal
Plus lifestyle changes : : 1.Dietary prescription - Weight loss and maintain ideally body weight; restriction of saturated fat to
2.Exercise prescription : combination of aerobic and resistance exercises, avoid extreme heavy lifting, straining, ( may raise blood pressure and aggravate retinopathy ); Intensity: increase heart rate moderately to 55 % of maximal heart rate ( 220 minus age in years); Duration : 30 minutes, preceded by stretching and flexibility exercises for a minimum 10 minutes; Frequency : best result if exercises occurs daily or minimum 3 time /week; if fasting glucose level are around 250 mg/dl, avoid strenuous exercises, if fasting glucose > 300 mg /dl, avoid any type of exercises; Monitor blood glucose level before , during and after exercises.
3.Avoid common precipitants: infections( respiratory, urinary, gastroenteritis, sepsis ) inadequate treatment; acute coronary syndromes; alcohol; drugs.
4.Regarding blood pressure: try to maintain at 140/90 mmHg level.
If you can’t achieve therapeutical targets of blood glucose level and blood pressure with above mentioned measures, then you need consult again your Doctor to review dosage and frequency of drugs he prescribed you.

I wish you and your sun good luck and speedy recovery,
Hope this helps and I have answered your query.

Internal Medicine Specialist Dr. Mayank Bhargava's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
You have mentioned your all medicines but you have not mentioned your blood pressure and blood sugar both fasting & postprandial level.
As a diabetic patient with positive diabetes history, you must concentrate on your well being.
Diabetes is not a just a disease but it may affect your other organs if not controlled.
You should consult with physician and should get regular check up for control of blood pressure and blood sugar.
Any chronic disease may be associated with depression and stress, you should consult with physician and psychiatrist for better life.
You should also go for HbA1c, renal function test, lipid profile, urine routine & microscopy, ECG.
Let me know your blood reports.
Take care,
Dr. Mayank Bhargava
