Dear Doctor,
My daughter age 6 years old was diagnosed with complex partial seizures. She started her medicine on April 26th 2012. She was taking depakene(200mg/ml) - 5ml/day, lamictal - 1/day, T. Frisium(5mg) - 1/day. still we noticed her having fits at least 3 per day. she is studying in KGII, but she is lacking writing skills, and do not pay any concentration on writing. orally she is ok. she grasp everything from school. but she is not able to concentrate while writing. In july 2013 we consulted the doctor in Sree chitra Institute of Medical Science, Trivandrum, India. As per the doctors in Sree chithra Medical Institute, we are now giving her only Oxetol (300mg) one tablet in the morning, Frisium(10mg) one tablet in the evening and Oxetol(450mg) one tablet in the evening. We find lot of improvement because after taking these medicines prescribed from Sree Chithra Medical Institute, the fits came into control by 1 per day and even there are no fits some days, but we are more concerned about her writing skills, as we face lot of complaints from the school, how can we bring her up in writing and how can she give concentration in her writing. Once her fits get controlled, will she be able to write. Please advise, we are very much worried about her. Thank you doctor, Mother
