People can have
migraine with aura, which was earlier called as classical migraine. In your case, the aura was visual in nature, and it typically occurs before the
headaches. In some cases, aura occurs but the headache does not follow.
Your current symptoms of headache could be because of migraine.
You should be started on preventive medications to reduce the severity and frequency of migraine headaches.
If symptoms do not improve despite treatment, a brain CT or
MRI scan may be done.
