Diagnosed With Typhoid A Month Back. Have Metallic Taste And Knee Pain. Reason?

I was diagnosed with typhoid a month back and now its four weeks, the fever went down, i have my appetite back, i did not have metallic taste when i was overcoming the fever but after two weeks, when i my fever went down i had a throat infection, i took medicines for three days and the throat was alright but i was left with a metallic taste and its been two weeks now i still have a metallic taste and knee pain, every one says its common to have that taste since i overcame typhoid however i am doubtful do i still have a typhoid or its common .. please help me out

hi, after the diagnosis of typhiod/enteric fever, you should be treated with appropriate antibiotics for atleast 7-10 days. you took antibiotics twice for enteric fever and for sore throat, it can lead to metallic taste, and it will be there till the drug is completely metabolised in the body. and the toxins released by the organism will cause coated tongue and altered taste. take antacids, multivitamins and probiotics. all the very best.
