Diagnosed With Schembergs Disease Which Is Causing Burning & Sleeplessness In Legs

I have Schembergs disease for abt 2 years. Although I am under treatment, no complete cure in sight. The red/brown spots have been controlled but the burning sensation in both the legs causing sleepless-ness. Kindly suggest me a line of treatment for this burning sensation.

Hi

Schambergs disease is commonly occuring in persons who stands for long time. It is a form of vascultis. As there is involvement of capillaries, it is also called capillaritis. There is oozing of blood in dermis which give the colored patches on the skin. It is mostly occur on foot and lower legs ,but ascends upto knee. Many times it is asymptomatic, but may cause pain or itching. You have svere burning pain in legs. You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis. There may be some other causes like anaemia,peripheral vascular disease,vitamin B 12 deficiency, DM or other. Have blood tests to find out cause. You may take vitamin B 12 tab if you have low level in blood. Anxiety may induce burning pain in legs. Avoid anxity and worries. You may be alright. Just have perfect diagnosis and treatment.
