Diagnosed With Sarcodiosis In Lungs, Taking Reducing Dosage Of Omnacortil. Face Swollen, Lack Energy. Right Treatment ?

My mom diagnosed with sarcodiosis on july 2013 in lungs and she is taking omnacortil 40 mg and now reduced to 7.5 mg . She is having swollen face and pigmentation on face and neck .
My question is
1 That inspite of steroids she feel less energy
2. She is diabetic and feel ichy all over the body
3. Is it safe to be on omnacortil for soo long.

The treatment for sarcoidosis is right. Steroids is the right treatment for sarcoidosis but it does cause fluid retention and increase in weight.
Ask your mother to start doing some exercise and put her on tablet lasix 20 mg daily.
Regarding the lack of energy
