Diagnosed With PCOD, Have Difficulty In Weight Loss. Is It Due To PCOD?
Hi I am diagnosed with PCOD recently after I under went vaginal ultra sound and in the past 4-5 months I have rapidly put on weight of about 7-8 kgs. Am working out dialy but am not losing . Its not increasing but i havent lost at least 500 gms :( Is it due to PCOD ??? am 27years old and we are planning baby only next year. Can PCOD be cured ? I was prescribed BENFORCE M tablet. Can you please elaborate on this tablet ? pros and cons ?? uses and side effects ? will Benforce by any chance lead to side effects ???? PLEASE PLEASE LET ME KNOW. am very bothered about my weight right now. You answer will be helpful to me.
Hi, Thanks for the query. Increase in weight can lead to PCOD, by affecting the hormonal balance. Decrease in weight, even half kg can help to some extent in correcting the hormonal levels. So don't loose hope and keep trying. Benforce M contains metformin. It is used to treat the insulin resistance in PCOD. As per the available studies it is not having adverse effects on fertility.
