Diagnosed With GERD. Took Amoxicillin After Dental Implant. Having Redness, Lump In Throat, Tightness Below Breast Bones. Caused By Amoxicillin?

I was recently diagnosed with Gerds. Due to a recent dental implant I was put on 500mg. of amoxicillin every 8 hours. After taking four my throat is red and very raw, my breathing is labored, swallowing difficult, like a lump at the back of my throat, and the sense of fullness/tightness at the base of my breast bones. Could the amoxicillin cause or contribute to my gerds?

greetings,

generally Amoxycillin does not cayuse all this.
but these antibiotics can cause acidity.
and when you already have GERD,it can cause these symptoms by refluxing more acids.
try taking an antacid and also adding more fibres tio your diet.
