Hi,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic,
I have gone through all the available details, You have diabetes and Thyroid issue.
I am glad to know you have good control of your blood sugar. I presume this jaundice is Viral Hepatitis if so you can continue to take your regular diabetic diet.
Dietary precautions like fat restriction, liberal consumption of sugars and carbohydrates, and restriction of proteins have no role.

Fat intake should not be restricted except if you have marked nausea and vomiting.
it may jeopardise the nutrition of these patients without providing any therapeutic effect.
You can continue daily activities unless you are severely incapacitated.
Hope this helps.
Wish you good health and speedy recovery.
Take care.
Good Luck.

Hi. Jaundice at the age of 50 years brings to my mind different causes which is difficult to differentiate based on the information you have provided. Viral hepatitis, Alcoholic liver disease, Gall stones/ other causes of biliary tract obstruction especially malignancy need to be thought of seriously. Jaundice is just a symptom and not a disease by itself. Only when the exact cause of jaundice is arrived at can a specific diet be prescribed, because some conditions like biliary colic would require a low fat diet. Hope i have answered your query with whatever information is available to me. Thank you.
