Diabetic, Sugar Level Under Control With Medication. Can I Continue Same Medication And Dose?

I am a Type 2 diabetics patient for the last one year and taking the following tablets: Mornings: 1 tablet of Glimstar M1 Nights: 1 tablet of Glimstar M1+Metneurobian OD and one tablet of Prolomet XL25 Now my average fasting sugar level is 87 and PP is 97 for the last one year. Should I continue the same tablets with the same dosage or can the dosage be reduced?

Hello and welcome to HCM
In my opinion your Fasting blood sugar is nearly close to the lower normal value. It should be between 70-110 mg/dl. And your PP blood sugar is 97 and its normal value is 90-150 mg/dl. So their are very much chances that your doses can be reduced from the doses you are taking. Consult your doctor and get your doses reduced as advised by him. But after reducing the doses you have to check your Fasting sugar once a week for one month and than once in 15 days. Instead of this you have to take all the precautions more strictly.
