Hello,

Your father is a diabetic and had a stroke in the past.
Now he is hospitalised and has dysphagia for both solids and fluids.
This may be another episode of stroke or he may have any organic cause for the dysphagia.
Without intake of food diabetics are prone for hypoglycemia.
Naso gastric tube is a temporary arrangement and it can not be in place for long time for reasons like infections.
As per doctors advice surgery is the next option you should opt for.
