Depo Shots Taken. Took Penicillin For Tooth Infection. Pink Spotting, Bloating, Cramping After Unprotected Sex. Pregnant?
Hello, I was on the depo shot for 2 1/2 years and received my last injection on 6/12/13. On 9/27/13 I began taking penicillin for a tooth infection and had unprotected sex on 10/11/13. On 10/16/13 I noticed pink spotting when wiping; no flow to get to a liner. Furthermore I've had bloating and cramping; could I be pregnant?

I think just spotting and bloating and cramping doesn't suggest that your are pregnant. Women on depo are known to have spotting due to less blood flow as result of thinning of the uterus lining and cramping and bloating also known side effects. But at the same time like other contraceptive methods, there can also be failure in this method so better get urine pregnancy test to confirm you are not pregnant. Hope this answers your doubt
