OBGYN 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The mild pain in the abdomen is not likely to be due to pregnancy. Since the home pregnancy test is negative, pregnancy is ruled out. The delay in periods is likely to be due to a hormonal imbalance.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.

OBGYN Dr. Nikita Islam's  Response
Hello Sarah
If you are otherwise regular with your periods, you could be pregnant. However, periods can be delayed due to hormonal disturbances, not just pregnancy. Home pregnancy tests are quite accurate. But to put your mind at rest, I would advice you to get a blood test, which will give you a definite answer.
Best wishes.
