Delayed Periods, Light Cramps, Mood Swings, Enlarged Nipples, Light Periods In Previous Month. Pregnancy?

hi, im 6 days late. before and during these 6 days i have been having light cramps as though im getting my period but no blood turns up. i have also been having mood swings at their worst, feel like im sleeping all the time, my nipples seem bigger and are very sore/tender to the point where i cant wear a bra. today i started having back pain in the middle of my back and lower. i have a 21 day cycle and it is always 21 days between periods. my last period was a couple days late and lasted not 5 but 7 days and wasnt normal as in not much blood also it stopped for two days then started again. can anyone tell me if i am pregnant?

Hello
Thank you for getting in touch with us. As I see, you are worried about the delay in your periods. As you have a 21 day cycle normally, it is natural for you to be worried about the delay. However, we would like you to know that 5-7 days delay can be seen in periods and should not be a cause of concern. If you are worried about being pregnant, you can do a home urine pregnancy test to find out. If it comes out as positive, you should get in touch with your Ob-Gyn Doctor who will then do an ultrasound to confirm the diagnosis. Even if it is negative and you don't get your periods in the near future, you should then also contact your Doctor to find out the cause. Hope this helps

Hi,

There are chances that you may be pregnant. However, none can assure you that without doing an ultrasound or a pregnancy test at the least.

Please do a simple urine pregnancy test at home. There are commercially available kits for the same that are available over the counter.

Do the test at your home. If it is positive, then it is most likely that you are, indeed.

If not, wait for another week to get your periods normally.

I hope this helps you.

Regards,
