Delayed Periods Despite Taking Lutera. Worried About Pregnancy

Hi, so I have been on Lutera for about 5 or 6 months. I have been super religious about taking my pills EVERY day at the SAME time (I have an alarm set on my phone) My boyfriend and I also always use condoms . But last month, it broke and he came inside me. Up until now, my period has bejen coming on the 3rd or 4th placebo pill but today is the 5th. Should I be worried? Thanks

Lutera is a combined OCP and has effectiveness more than 99%. Pregnancy depends on two factor like failure of OCP and breaking of condom around ovulation time. Though chance is very minimal.
You do a home pregnancy test to exclude pregnancy, if you do not get period after completion of placebo pill.
In case of negative test, reasons for delayed period are hormonal imbalance,stress/anxiety,ovarian cyst, thyroid problem, wt gain/extreme loss,irregular eating habits etc.
Need to investigate properly to rule out underlying pathology by USG lower abdomen, Thyroid profile, LH/FSH etc. So consult with your doctor and take suggestive measure.
Avoid stress, take healthy diet and practice safe sex in future. Be well.
