Delayed Periods. History Of Taking Primolut N. Pregnancy Test Positive. Test Reliable Or Positive Result Due To Chemicals?
Hi ,I m 33 years old,had taken primolut n about 3weeks ago ,my period delayed for 12days. I did 3 pregnancy tests and they all result positive ,I went to my doctor and told me that I may not be pregnant because the pills have a chemical that can show that I m preganant and in reality can not.i m going to have a blood test to see if its true or not,kindly please can you give me your advise,as I m very confused,and I really would like that I m really pregnant.

Hi,
Just to keep things simple, it is technically impossible to get pregnant while on Primolut. Primolut is used for contraception and its failure rate is about 3% (i.e. only 3 women out of 100 can get by whatever chance pregnant while on Primalut). So, your best bet is to go back to your doctor for a test called urine beta-hCG. This test is the most accurate for detecting pregnancy.
